Terms and Conditions for Yin Yoga Teacher Training (In-Person and Online)

By enrolling in the Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course (in-person or online), you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. General Terms

1.1 Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years or older at the time of enrollment.
1.2 Course Content: The training includes all outlined modules, live or recorded sessions, and any additional materials specified at the time of registration.
1.3 Certificate of Completion: Certification will be awarded upon completion of all training requirements, including full attendance and satisfactory participation in assignments and assessments.

2. Payment Terms

2.1 Course Fees:

  • In-Person Training: £650 (or £595 early bird if booked before 1st February 2025).

  • Online Training: £495 (or £450 if booked before [1st February 2025).

2.2 Installment Option:

  • Payment plans are available as outlined during registration (e.g., four equal payments).

  • All installment payments are non-refundable and must be completed even if the participant withdraws from the course.

2.3 Payment Methods: Payments must be made via bank transfer, or through Gem Maryan Yoga Website payment system (Stripe).

2.4 Late Payments: A late payment fee of £10 may be applied if payments are not received by the due date.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

3.1 Participant Cancellation:

  • If a participant withdraws more than 30 days before the training start date, a refund (minus a £50 administration fee) will be provided.

  • No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 30 days of the training start date.

3.2 Organizer Cancellation:

  • If the training is canceled by Gem Maryan Yoga, participants will receive a full refund of all payments made.

  • Gem Maryan Yoga is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation expenses for in-person training.

3.3 Transfer of Enrollment: Participants may transfer their enrollment to another training date, subject to availability and at the discretion of the Gem Maryan Yoga.

4. In-Person Training Specific Terms

4.1 Venue and Food:

  • Training takes place at my home in the West End of Glasgow.

  • Participants may enjoy home-cooked meals provided by me or choose to dine at local cafes.

4.2 Travel and Accommodation: Participants are responsible for arranging their own travel and accommodation.

4.3 Attendance: Full attendance for all scheduled sessions (Friday–Sunday) is required to complete the training.

5. Online Training Specific Terms

5.1 Technology Requirements: Participants must have access to a stable internet connection and a device capable of accessing Zoom.

5.2 Recordings: Live sessions may be recorded for participant access. These recordings are for personal use only and must not be shared, copied, or distributed.

5.3 Time Commitment: Participants are expected to dedicate time to both live sessions and self-study modules as outlined in the course schedule.

6. Code of Conduct

6.1 Participants are expected to engage respectfully with the trainer and fellow participants.
6.2 Any disruptive behavior may result in removal from the training without a refund.

7. Liability

7.1 Gem Maryan Yoga is not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages sustained during the training. Participants are encouraged to consult a healthcare provider before undertaking the course if they have medical concerns.

7.2 For in-person training, Gem Maryan Yoga is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, including but not limited to manuals, recordings, and resources, are the intellectual property of the Gem Maryan Yoga and may not be reproduced, shared, or sold without prior written consent.

9. Amendments

Gem Maryan Yoga reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to participants promptly.

10. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes shall be resolved under Scottish jurisdiction.
