One-to-one yoga that meets you where you are today

While group yoga classes can be great and a lot of fun, they aren't always suitable for everyone,

particularly if you're working with limited mobility, hypermobility, pain or fatigue, or recovering from a hip or knee injury. Yoga should always be safe and supportive, and most importantly, it should help you connect to your body and breathe and build a practice that works for you.

I have been teaching yoga since 2011 and am now training as a yoga therapist (C-IAYT).

One-to-one yoga sessions:

A one-to-one session is a yoga practice built around you: your body, your experience of practice and what you would like from it. We might build a home practice you can keep up, adapt poses after an injury, work on strength and mobility, or explore Yin, Ashtanga or breath at your own pace.

Sessions are held at my studio at Dess, near Aboyne, or online on Zoom. One-to-one yoga is yoga teaching. It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for medical care.

What to expect:

  • A 60-minute one-to-one session, in the studio or online

  • A short conversation at the start about what you would like from the session

  • Notes or a simple home practice to take away

  • A calm, private space to explore your body, breath and practice

A one-to-one session builds a practice that fits your body and your life.

I adapt every session to how you are that day, so the practice stays safe, steady and your own.

Price:

£55 per hour, in the studio or online.
