Ayurvedic yoga Massage
A Dynamic and Therapeutic Treatment
Ayurvedic Yoga Massage (AYM) blends traditional deep tissue massage with assisted yoga stretches and conscious breathing. This method, developed by Master Kasum Modak in Pune, India, works through the body’s layers of muscle, fascia and the subtle energetic channels to release deep tension and restore the bodies vitality.
Each session is unique and tailored to your needs. Using natural oils and a fine Ayurvedic herbal power (if suitable for your skin), Gem combines firm pressure, rhythmic deep tissue massage and gentle assisted stretches to open the body and quiet the mind.

REIKI ENERGY THERAPY
Gentle Energy Balancing for Mind, Body and Spirit
Reiki is deeply relaxing Japanese healing practice that supports the body’s natural ability to restore balance. Using light touch (or hands held slightly about the body), Reiki helps to soothe the nervous system, calm the mind and bring a sense of inner peace.
Gem has practiced Reiki since 2013 and often integrates it into her therapeutic work with clients who are managing stress, fatigue, grief or burnout.

What to expect
Before, During and After Your Session
Please arrive a few minutes early so that you can settle in.
Wear comfortable clothes which allow free movement (for Reiki you will be fully clothed. For massage, modest draping is provided)
Each session begins with a consultation to understand your current needs and any contraindications before your session begins.
After treatment you will have time to take rest, drink some herbal tea, hydrate and have a small chat before heading home.

You’ll be drapped comfortably with towels and cotton sheets. Undress to your level of comfort (underwear or shorts is fine). Gem uses natural oils and maintains your privacy throughout.

Yes, distance Reiki works through focused energy connection. You’ll rest at home while Gem channels Reiki at an agreed time. Gem works also through Zoom and this can be an additional distance Reiki option.

A single session can bring many benefits including deep relaxation. For ongoing stress, tension, or recovery a short series (3-5 sessions) is most beneficial.

Gem is an experienced yoga teacher (E-RYT 500) and yoga therapist in training (C-IAYT) with over 14 years of teaching experience. She brings sensitivity, care and professionalism to every session. Integrating her understanding of anatomy, breath and the subtle body systems into hands on Reiki and massage treatments.
